Summary: Idolatry is ultimately making a lie out of reality and living against the grain of God's world, and when we live in idolatry, we tear apart the fabric of God's world. Thanks be to God, like Moses interceded for the Hebrews, Jesus our High Priest intercedes for us and has become the propitiation for our sins, so that we can join Him in mending the fabric of His world as He makes all things new.
