Scripture: Matthew 17:1-9

Summary: Do you ever wish that you could bask in the glorious presence of Jesus all the time? This is what Peter was trying to do, in the story of the Transfiguration, when he suggested they set up camp on top of the mountain. The purpose of the Transfiguration, and 'Mountain Top' experiences in general, is to reveal who Jesus really is, the King of Glory, and to pay attention to what he is saying. May we have ears to see, ears to hearts, and the courage to follow him, wherever he leads.
